4 local bachelors search for love in Russia on new dating show

, which will air on VIA from 20 October, the South African singles are matched with Russian women through an agency.

In this first for South African TV, viewers will follow the singles as they meet and mingle over a period of 12 weeks. They then have to decide if there will be a wedding or if they will part ways. Executive producer of the show, Konrad Kuhn, says connections were made right from the start:"There were immediate favourites".

The participants then met up at the Nyati Safari Lodge on the Olifants River for a further two weeks, and this is where sparks flew insiders reveal. On the final night, the singles could decide whether they wanted a relationship, or not.
