'Look out for each other, Blackpool'
Police in Blackpool said the family were in the dire situation "through no fault of their own". Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team reached out to the Amazing Graze Soup Kitchen who "very kindly offered to support this family in their time of need and donated some freshly made hot food".
Amazing Graze's website describes it as a community café situated in South Shore with their main focus to provide a warm safe-place and food for the homeless in the seaside town. It was founded by UK homeless campaigner Mark Butcher and their goals is 'not just to be a soup kitchen but somewhere that genuinely lifts people to a better place'.
A spokesperson said: "A heartfelt thank you to these organisations from both the family and the local policing team for showing such generosity. As we approach the colder months, if you have anything to spare, consider making food donations to organisations like Amazing Graze or your local food bank as it could mean the world of difference to someone in desperate need.
A third person said: "Well done Amazing grace soup kitchen and also Tesco what an amazing thing to do" while Amazing Grace Soup Kitchen wrote: "Thank you for sharing."
