Police have confirmed"no criminality" took place in Aberdeen city centre following claims three women were chased by men with knives this week.
Officers have since confirmed the incident was reported to them directly and no further action is to be taken following extensive inquiries. “Following extensive inquiries, it was established that no criminality had taken place, advice was provided to all concerned and no further police action taken.”Aberdeen City Council independent member Jennifer Stewart said she has been calling for more police on patrol in the area.
