Dr Jaco Putter , a beloved Pretoria doctor was allegedly murdered in his Nieuw Muckleneuk home recently. The South African described the murder as 'brutal', saying that the sudden loss of life "sent shock waves through the city" as many who knew Dr Putter remembered him as one of the gentlest people. Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Johan van Dyk confirmed the death of Dr Putter, per Maroela Media, saying that a family member discovered his body.
Meanwhile, the 60-year-old doctor's nephew Dr Armand Koekemoer posted the news on his Facebook page: “It is with great sadness that I inform you that my uncle passed away last night. The rumours that he was murdered are true, but we do not have more information available at this stage,” Koekemoer said.
