The team behind '13 Going on 30' is bringing the movie to the stage with a musical adaptation.
reports. The industry publication adds that Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa, the original writers behind the beloved film, will be working on the adaptation. Since its debut in 2004, the movie has become a pop culture phenomenon, inspiring Halloween costumes and earning a very unique distinction: superstar singer Ariana Grande paid homage to it in a music video.
Goldsmith and Yuspa aren't the only names that theater geeks and musical fans will recognize. Michael Weiner and Alan Zachary, the duo behindwill helm music and lyrics and the whole production will be directed by Andy Fickman, whose resume includes the adaptation of.
