イベントでは、本作のコアとなる建築システムも紹介され、材料を集め組み立てることで小屋などを建てることができ、サバイバル生活の拠点を豊かにできることなどが説明された。さらに本作はマルチプレイに対応しており、友だちとともに拠点を作って共同生活を送れることも明らかにされた。 生活していく手段から過去の文化について自分自身で学び、その経験を経て昔フィンランドにあった北欧のシャーマニズム文化にたどり着いたという。そして「スタジオジブリが映画でやっているようなことをゲームでやってみたかった」とのひと言も。 さらにおとものボージは戦闘シーンでも重要な役割を担ってくれるとのことで、回復をしてくれるばかりか、敵への攻撃やサポート魔法もくり出す様子が映像で確認できた。ボージはAIによる自動アクションで行動し、スキルツリーによりプレイヤー好みの能力に成長させることも可能とのことだ。
