Police were called to Queen Street West at around 2 p.m. Thursday
A 54-yer-old man is facing multiple charges after someone phoned 911 to report people publicly using drugs on Queen Street West.
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service was called to the 0-100 block of Queen West at around 2 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, they identified a suspect they say had an outstanding warrant for breaching the conditions of their release. The suspect was searched and police say they found approximately 0.6 grams of suspected cocaine and approximately 11.6 grams of suspected fentanyl. Pozzo is being held in custody pending a bail hearing. None of the allegations have been tested in court and he is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
