Make-up artist Peter Philips took the ’90s references and interpreted it as skin being kept nude, and eyebrows “made to be a bit bushier on most girls.”
However it was the glint of silver that Philips added to the model’s eyes that flashed on the runway subtly that made what at first glance seemed a pared down make-up look, transform into a modern grunge must-have trend.
