Police say video shows a 9-year-old girl walking with another family member toward the business when she gets shot in the leg.

It happened just after 6:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the fast food restaurant at North Broad Street and West Allegheny Avenue. "You can see her legs buckle. It appears that she's in pain. It appears that something happens to her leg and we know that she was shot. So those cameras at McDonald's did capture that," said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small.
The girl was taken to Temple University Hospital in a private vehicle and is in stable condition. She was later transferred to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Police say it's unclear if any gunshots were heard or where the bullet came from, but officers are checking other nearby surveillance cameras.RELATED:
