Elizabeth 'Lizzy' Hammond died after a gust of wind picked up the bounce house she was in and blew it onto a nearby power line.
noted that the girl's family issued a statement confirming her death on Friday, and also thanked first responders and law enforcement for their help.
On Friday, more than 200 people -- including the rescue team that attempted to save Hammond's life -- gathered for an Honor Walk.
