A serious weather warning is in force
Heavy showers and thunderstorms expected to cause some flooding and disruption are forecast for parts of the UK today as the Met Office issues a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms.
What to expect This comes as the meteorologists issue a yellow heat-health warning from tomorrow with temperatures forecast to rise above 24C.Thursday A fine day is expected. Some parts will remain dry, with warm sunny spells and light winds. However, occasional showers are possible, turning heavy and thundery in places. Maximum temperature 26 °C.
