“Three years ago in St. Albert, I asked my lady, where’s my competition from the year before and she said that they’re either six feet under or in an old folks home,” Ensslen said with a laugh. “Not only do you have your own support group you have people in the community on their own keeping track of some of us competitors,” said Ensslen.
“One year in Penticton I heard thunder, and that often comes with rain and I said, ‘oh, that often comes with hail,’ and people were lying in the ditch waiting for things to pass but I got so chilled I called it a day,” Ensslen said.Article content
