The incident happened Monday at 510 N. Main Ave., Sylacauga police said.
Sylacauga police say a 72-year-old stabbed a 25-year-old man to death around midnight Monday.Officers responding to a stabbing call found Fredrick Norris, 25, originally from Alexander City, lying on the front porch.
Johnson said the 72-year-old suspected of stabbing Norris, whose name was not released, is cooperating with investigators, along with other residents that were at the home when the incident occurred.
