7 new Covid-19 cases, none from Tawar cluster

PUTRAJAYA: Seven new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, although none of the local transmissions were from the Tawar cluster, the health ministry confirmed this evening.Six patients were discharged, which sees the total number of recoveries increase to 8,965.

Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there are 184 active cases, with eight being treated in the intensive care unit and five in need of respiratory assistance.
