Tjing Tjing Rooftop Bar Tjing Tjing Rooftop Bar, a one-of-a-kind exquisite locale with a Japanese twist, was named by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the world’s best new bars in 2012.

The bar is located at the top of Tjing Tjing House, a 200-year-old heritage building on Longmarket St., in an old attic surrounded by wooden mansards. The furnishings are eclectic, echoing those on the other three levels of the building, with a striking shrine-red bar offset by a wall of black-and-white photographs of Tokyo and Kyoto by owner Ilze Koekemoer.
