San Francisco police on Thursday were seeking the suspects responsible for a Potrero Hill shooting that left a 61-year-old man wounded.
Officers were called just after 9:35 p.m. on Wednesday to the 800 block of Missouri Street, near the Potrero Hill Recreation Center, on reports of the shooting and found the victim"suffering from an apparent gunshot wound" at the scene, San Francisco Police Department Officer Allison Maxie told The Examiner.
SFPD Deputy Chief Raj Vaswani said in a Tweet multiple suspects fired"20-30 rounds of rifle fire" before fleeing the scene. The injured victim was taken to a hospital with what was determined to be a non-life threatening injury, the SFPD reported. No other injuries were reported in the shooting. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, according to the SFPD. An investigation into the crime is ongoing, and anyone with information was asked to contact San Francisco police at 415 575-4444.
