BREAKING: 61-year-old man charged with attempted murder after baby seriously injured in Markham hotel
A man from China has been charged after a two-month-old baby was found seriously injuredYork Regional Police and paramedics responded to 8900 Woodbine Avenue, north of Highway 7, just after 2 p.m. for reports of an infant injured.
Police said a 61-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene. On Wednesday, police said the man had been charged with attempted murder. Police had said that there were other family members inside the hotel room at the time of the incident, and one of them called 911.
