Six years after the deadly mosque shooting in Quebec City, organizers are inviting the community inside their place of worship to commemorate the lives lost and emphasize the work still to be done on Islamophobia.

The shooting at the mosque left a community traumatized and the province more aware of the dangers of radicalization. The victims are honoured in this memorial sculpture in Quebec City.

In addition to private events held for the Muslim community, the public can visit the mosque between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday for the first time since the completion of the renovations in 2021.
