Police say 5 of the 6 people hurt were hospitalized after multiple people exchanged gunfire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Five people were taken to the hospital and another was treated on scene after a shooting in Northwest Jacksonville. Police say at least two people opened fire around 10:30 p.m. Monday at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of Moncrief Road West. Police say none of the injuries are life-threatening and none of the victims are cooperating with the investigation. Officers say they do not know what provoked the shooting.

Police recover stolen car from foreign suspect: Bainbridge Township police blotterPolice found a car Sept. 4 reported stolen two days earlier in Cleveland. The car was parked at the Bainbridge Township Waterway station. When a man returned to the car he was questioned and arrested. The subject is believed to be 35 years old from Honduras. He was charged with receiving stolen property and was transported to the Geauga County jail. The vehicle was returned to its owner.
