New stunning Superman: Legacy poster fan art features six of James Gunn's confirmed DC Universe characters as they get ready for the big reboot.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT As James Gunn is building up the new DC Universe, a selection confirmed characters unite in a new amazing Superman: Legacy fan poster. The Man of Steel is getting closer to finally returning to the big screen, as David Corenswet will be suiting up as the hero in Superman: Legacy, the first DC Universe movie from DC Studios. Gunn, who wrote Superman: Legacy, will also direct the film, which is starting production next year.

With the DC Universe slowly taking shape through Gunn's film, multiple Superman: Legacy cast members have been tapped for the highly anticipated DC Universe movie. Agt Design shared a new Superman: Legacy fan poster, which features a portion of this cast, most prominently showcasing Corenswet as the Man of Tomorrow and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.

In addition to them, the Superman: Legacy artwork also features Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, as well as Xolo Maridueña's Blue Beetle. Even though Jaime Reyes will not appear in Superman: Legacy, Gunn has confirmed he is the first DC Universe character, thus making Blue Beetle tied to the franchise. The only DC Universe character not featured in the Superman: Legacy fan poster is Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho.

During the casting process of Superman and Lois, it was being reported that Lex Luthor was in the mix, from Nicholas Hoult to Alexander and Bill Skarsgård getting eyed for the role. While they have their own movie coming up, Superman: Legacy is also said to be casting members of The Authority. However, it is unclear how many Authority characters are to be cast if these rumours are true, and if they are meant to have a big role or not.

Based on all of the casting choices so far, Superman: Legacy is already shaping up to be a very different Superman movie, as it sets the foundation for the DC Universe. It also makes things interesting for other DC Universe movies when they eventually start casting, as it's clear intentions are to provide many comic figures who have never appeared on the big screen before. For now, the world will have to wait patiently to see who else will be starring in Superman: Legacy.
