On January 17, 2023, at 4:18 p.m. officers with Traffic Services stopped a 53 year-old driver for stunt driving. The vehicle was travelling at 135 km/h in a 60km/h zone on Second Line East. The driver is facing an automatic 30-day licence suspension and the vehicle will be impounded for 14 days in accordance with Stunt Driving regulations under the Highway Traffic Act. The average fee to have your vehicle towed and impounded for 14 days is approximately $1,400.
