But it was up to the offense to get the job done. They did that. The offense’s next two drives were their longest of the second half. But it hasn’t really worked the last two against the Chiefs and Titans, particularly when Driskel runs it. Driskel finished with two rushes for two yards. The Titans, like the Chiefs, were not fooled. The only time Driskel was effective was in the passing game. He was 3-of-4 for 40 yards.It might be time for the Texans to abandon that strategy. It’s not working. The two-quarterback system is not sustainable. Teams expect Driskel to run when he’s in the game.
