McKinney airport expansion proposal: What’s going on?

“The City of McKinney views TKI as an economic engine that is vital to the financial health of the city and an economic driver for the area,” according to the June 2022 McKinney National AirportAt the open houses, will give residents can view the preliminary results of the federally required environmental analysis, which includes impact on water, wildlife, culture, air quality, noise, surface transportation, residences and population.
The March 23 meeting is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Old Settler’s Recreation Center. The second open house, April 19, is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cockrill Middle School.Collin County is the third largest county in the Dallas-Fort Worth combined statistical area and is expected to have the largest population growth in the area through 2040, adding 620,000 people, according to the market analysis.

A catchment is an area from which an airport can expect passengers.
