Movie smashed its way into theaters on Wednesday, April 5th, earning back its budget and then some before the Easter weekend came to a close. The Super Mario Bros. Movie follows gamers’ favorite Italian plumber duo as they are sucked into the magical worlds of the Super Mario universe.
Since Daisy became a staple character in Mario Tennis, the Daisy Cruise Line can also showcase a sports show in Super Mario Bros. 2. Not only would this give the audience a chance to see these larger-than-life characters in a relaxed setting, it would also provide room for character development. This was something that The Super Mario Bros. Movie, unfortunately, lacked a great deal of.
3 Delfino Plaza First introduced in Super Mario Sunshine, Delfino Plaza is the main hub of Isle Delfino where Mario, Peach, and Toad go to vacation. Many different worlds can be accessed from Delfino Plaza in the game, such as Gelato Beach and Ricco Harbor. Super Mario Bros. 2 visiting this world can give the characters a chance for some leisure, before the main conflict arises in the sequel.
