If you’re hoping to have some fun without breaking the bank, there’s no shortage of cost-friendly events happening throughout Calgary. Here are five free activities to try out during the rest of August.
Join Studio Bell at East Village’s C-Square every Sunday in August for live afternoon concerts featuring a wide assortment of Alberta talent. The free, family friendly performances run from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The August 21 show features folk-pop singer-songwriter Kate Stevens and Plains Cree folk singer-songwriter Wyatt C. Louis, while vocalist Justine Giles and The Corey Hotline take the stage on August 28.
