You might have missed these planning applications, but work on each could begin soon after they were all approved in August.
View the five proposals for developments below, which were approved by Watford Borough Council, Three Rivers District Council, Hertsmere Borough Council, or Dacorum Borough Council in August.The former Bushey Tyre Centre, which “has been vacant for a few years and appears to be in a deteriorating condition” according to Hertsmere Borough Council, is set to become flats.
The application suggests comparable flats to those proposed have been sold for up to £1,550,000 in the area. The previous owners of the first and second floor office space “faced extreme difficulty in securing any commercial tenants for the site”, according to the proposal.The Hub in Paradise, Hemel Hempstead where the homes will be built.
