49ers are seeking their 10th straight win and need some help to get the NFC’s first round bye
So what will third-string quarterback — and, suddenly, Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate — Brock Purdy do? He’s still yet to lose a game he starts in the NFL and he even answered some key tests last week in Las Vegas, twice driving the 49ers into scoring territory late in the fourth quarter.
While Purdy answered some questions, the defense came out of the surprising high-scoring game against the Raiders. Even though they’re still the top defense in the NFL, can the 49ers defense find the fixes to what happened last week and correct them against Arizona’s fourth-string quarterback, journeyman David Blough?
