MONTARA, California — Four people, including a 4-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy, were rescued Monday after their vehicle drove off a highway and over a cliff, plunging an estimated 250 feet and stopping just short of the water of the Pacific Ocean.
Pottenger said that when rescuers were able to reach the vehicle, they could see movement through the windows.
