32 agencies participate in active shooter drill in Birdville ISD
More than 400 people participated in a"mass casualty event" Wednesday in Northeast Tarrant County. Birdville ISD set up the active shooter drill, which included police, fire and hospitals.
"Rare is the case where we get all these organizations to come together at one big event and test what it is we're doing and how we work together," says North Richland Hills Police Chief Jimmy Perdue.

Ofc. Dillon Gor's brother, Travis, has battled countless medical conditions his entire life, including undergoing 15 surgeries. 'He wasn't supposed to make it past birth, he wasn't supposed to make it out of NICU, he wasn't supposed to make it out of ICU,' says Ofc. Gor. 'He was only going to be home for a little bit, so let's make them as comfortable as possible. 'And he turned 29 last week.' As a way of giving back to Cook Children's Medical Center, the brothers concocted a plan. Police release footage in investigation of Cedar Hill shooting - KRLD NewsThe police chief of Cedar Hill provided an update on Tuesday's shooting outside a medical facility. Chief Ely Reyes says the suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Bryan McGee of Glenn Heights. He has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
