Kaizer Chiefs management did not have a day off in January. Mduduzi Mdantsane's announcement departure was nearly forgotten.
Following a freak jaw injury which caused him to miss pre-season training, Mdantsane has been shipped to Richards Bay on loan until the rest of the season. The 30-year-old joins fellow Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Sabelo Radebe who is at the same club.
“Mdantsane, a talented and experienced attacking midfielder will rejoin Amakhosi at the end of the season. The 27-year winger impressed on debut against Orlando Pirates and midweek’s 2-2 draw with AmaZulu. The Kaizer Chiefs attacker finally crowned his impressive start at Amakhosi with a goal against Stellenbosch FC. “It is true that I am settling well,” Lilepo told SuperSport TV after picking up the Man-of-the-Match Award.
“It’s actually his choice if Chiefs don’t renew, and if Zamalek are interested in him, it will depend on the talks between the player and Zamalek. Of course, there have been inquiries, and with Thabo Cele at the team now and the injury that Castillo suffered, this is his chance now,” an additional insider said.Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1.
