3 injured after 20- to 30-foot tree branch falls on them at Ski Beach in Mission Bay [Breaking]
A man and two teenage girls were hurt Sunday when a 20- to 30-foot-long tree branch fell on them at Ski Beach in Mission Bay in an apparent freak accident, San Diego police said.
The trio were reportedly sitting under the tree when the branch fell about 4:40 p.m. on the northern end of the beach off Ingraham Street, police said. The man and the girls, ages 14 and 15, suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospitals for treatment, police said.
