As the Branch Davidian Compound lay in ashes, questions surrounded the actions of the federal government and how the handled the siege.Years later, in 2018, ABC13 talked with McNamara, a lifelong lawman, about the siege. McNamara was a U.S. Marshal deputy on the day the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ATF raided the Davidian compound. He was there and defends the ATF's actions that day, but admits many lessons were learned since then.
