CAPE TOWN - The case against alleged 28s gang boss, Ralph Stanfield, his wife, Nicole Johnson, former Cape Town human settlements MMC, Malusi Booi, and 26 others has been postponed for seven weeks.

Some of the accused appeared in person and while others joined via a video link from prison at the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Friday. They're facing more than 50 serious charges including murder, fraud, corruption and money laundering.added to the indictmentThe murder charges relate to the killing of City of Cape Town official, Wendy Kloppers, in February 2023 as well as the murder of former Hard Livings gang boss, Rashied Staggie, in 2019.The State has told the court that it has more than 100 bank statements that are yet to be analysed.

The court also heard that there are several electric devices, including laptops, tablets, and cell phones, with documents that still need to be downloaded and analysed.The tender fraud case involving the city’s former human settlements MMC Malusi Booi, alleged 28’s gang boss Ralph Stanfield, and Stanfield’s wife Nicole Johnson was back at the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court today
