The man's death was ruled a homicide but no suspects were named.
A 22-year-old Glassboro man was found shot to death early Friday morning in the upstairs bedroom of a borough home, authorities said.
Officers from the Glassboro Police Department were called to a home on the 200 block of University Boulevard shortly after 1 a.m. for a report of gunshots. When they arrived they cleared several occupants before finding Travon A. Barker-Bordley dead, authorities said. He had been shot multiple times, according to a statement from the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office.
An autopsy performed by Gloucester County Medical Examiner Dr. Gerald Feign ruled Barker-Bordley’s death a homicide, however as of 6 p.m., no suspects were named and no arrests were made, investigators said. The prosecutor’s office said there was no risk to the community but urged any witnesses of the shooting to call Detective Brandon Cohen of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office at 856-384-5524 or Corporal Hailey Mangione of the Glassboro Police Department at 856-881-1501 ext. 88179. Information can also be e-mailed to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office at
