2024 Olympic Games: How and where to watch

Expert analysis from South African Olympic medallists and a special"SuperScreen" channel on DStv offer a unique viewing experience with multiple simultaneous broadcasts. MultiChoice and SuperSport are adding what they call a"SuperScreen" Olympics channel on DStv channel 199 for DStv subscribers in Sub-Saharan Africa. The channel will feature eight split screens, providing viewers with an overview of all the SuperSport Olympic channels.

SuperSport will also broadcast content pieces profiling current Olympic stars such as Akani Simbine, Ferdinand Omanyala, Lythe Pillay, Miyanda Maseti, Patrick Chinyemba, Worknesh Mesele and Noah Lyles, with the segments which will also be available on DStv CatchUp.

Since the SABC acquired the 2024 Olympic Games rights directly from the Olympic organisers and not as sublicensed content from MultiChoice and SuperSport, the Olympic Games coverage will also be seen unhindered on the version of the SABC's TV channels carried on eMedia's Openview satellite TV service.
