Karimi while reacting to media reports on Wednesday described the purported defection ahead of the APC primary as the handwork of mischief makers, and the imagination of the writers.

While describing it as foolishness to leave his party for the unknown, the former federal lawmaker said he remains the candidate to beat in the forthcoming All Progressives Congress Primaries. He urged political gladiators to accept the party decision adding that the pull me down syndrome is now archaic in the present political dispensation.

“APC would win convincingly in the coming elections in Nigeria and Kogi State. This is the highest level of foolishness by the writers and their sponsor to ever think I will leave APC which is a known party for the unknown. ” I must commend the foolishness of the mischief-makers for trying to paint a picture of what never existed” he added.
