Wales have qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup after defeating Ukraine 1-0 in the play-off final on Sunday evening. SLInt MORE:

Gareth Bale was back in the Wales line-up after being rested for the game against Poland, as Aaron Ramsey and Joe Allen started in the middle of the park.

While Wales struggled to carve out, Hennessy had a busy first half as he was called upon to keep out Oleksander Zinchenko's strike from distance, before he had to rush off his line to deny Viktor Tsygankov on 30 minutes. Wales took that advantage into the break, but they should have had a second goal shortly after the break as a swift counter attack ended with Roofe teeing up Ramsey who fired from 10 yards out.

Brennan Johnson replaced Daniel James for the final 20 minutes and almost an immediate impact when he rattled the upright with a first-time volley at the far post.
