Three people, including two children, have died in a truck crash in Chatsworth, south of Durban. ECRNewsWatch KZN
Reports from the scene are that a fully loaded low-bed tow truck lost control on a bend on Main Road and slammed into four schoolchildren on Friday morning."A total of five people were involved in this collision. Unfortunately, three occupants, including two small children aged approximately six and nine, have been declared deceased on the scene.
Meanwhile, several government departments are offering assistance and support to the families of six children who died in a bus crash in northern KZN.KZN bus crash claims another lifeThe Mchitheki Secondary pupils, from grades 10 and 11, were travelling from Nongoma to Durban for an educational tour.
KZN Education says various teams are supporting the families by providing trauma counselling and assisting them with groceries and funeral arrangements.
