Groveport police said officers responded to the store at 6011 Groveport Road just after 6 p.m. after two people were stabbed within the outer parking lot. They were taken to medical facilities for treatment. Police said their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. Fairfield County deputies detained a person of interest in Canal Winchester, according to Groveport police.

"While specific details remain undisclosed at this time, the Groveport Police Department is committed to uncovering the truth and details ensuring the safety of the community," Captain Kurt Blevins said in a statement.
