A woman and a man were knocked down by a car at Bendemeer Road.
A man and a woman were taken to hospital after a car accident at Bendemeer Road on Wednesday afternoon .said the two people were knocked down by a car.The woman was later loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher with someone holding an umbrella to shelter her as it had started to rain. The man was still sitting on the side of the busy road but now with an umbrella.In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the accident at about 3.25pm.
The police added that the 55-year-old car driver is assisting with investigations, which are ongoing.
