BREAKING NEWS: 4 separate overnight shootings were reported across the Jacksonville area, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
According to law enforcement, Officers were dispatched to the first shooting that happened at a Quickway gas station on 3100 Boulevard at approximately 10:15 p.m.The victims were all female, aged 22, 32, and 32 all suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the arm, leg, and back, respectively.The victims reported they were standing with a crowd outside the gas station when shots rang out.
According to JSO, the shooting is likely connected with a block party that took place earlier in the evening. Investigators found evidence ranging throughout the intersection of 21st Street and Boulevard, causing the closure of the intersection for several hours.Just 15 minutes later, another shooting occurred at 10:30 p.m. on 3800 Blanding Boulevard.A 44-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound to his back, according to JSO.Investigators said the victim was riding a bike on the street when he was shot.There is no information on a suspect at this time.
