Part one brought a widespread snowfall late Friday afternoon and evening with totals between 1 and 3 inches common, though southern portions of Tuscarawas County measured an impressive 10 to 12 inches under a persistent heavy snow band.
The wind picks up throughout the day on Saturday with sustained speeds between 15 and 20 mph from the west to northwest. Gusts up to 30 mph are possible. High temperatures stay in the 20s under a mostly cloudy sky. Scattered, lake-effect flurries and snow showers remain likely throughout the day with an additional 1 to 3 inches of accumulation. Ais now in effect for Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties through this evening. Use caution if traveling.
Sunday will be dry and mostly sunny a majority of the day, though clouds increase late in the afternoon. Winds continue to be strong between 15 and 20 mph, with occasional gusts up to 30 mph. They begin to settle late in the day. High temperatures rise to the upper 30s.
