South Africans and Proteas supporters are hoping for a public if the South African cricket team wins the Cricket World Cup.They won by 1 wicket against Pakistan, won by 149 runs against Bangladesh, beat England by 229 runs, won by 134 runs against Australia, and beat Sri Lanka by 102 runs.on Monday, 30 October President Ramaphosa asked South Africans to rally behind the Proteas, who are facing New Zealand on Wednesday, 1 November.

“I know that many of us want us to have a holiday now to celebrate. But we should all agree that we should give our matriculants time to focus on their exams and celebrate afterwards. We declare this to be a day of hope, a day of celebration and unity,” says Ramaphosa. “I want us to now rally behind the Proteas in the same way as we have given our support to the Springboks.”
