First responders found the teen inside a home suffering from three gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a hospital and rushed into surgery. He is currently in critical condition, WPXI said.
Two men were seen driving away at the time of the shooting, officials said. An officer later recognized their vehicle and performed a felony stop.
