Toronto police said they were called to a stabbing near Bloor Street West and Old Mill Trail
A 16-year-old boy has suffered serious injuries after they were stabbed on a TTC bus Wednesday afternoon.
Toronto police were called around 4 p.m. to the area of Bloor Street West and Old Mill Trail. Toronto police duty inspector Lori Kranenburg told reporters at the scene that when officers arrived at the scene, they found a 16-year-old boy with stab wounds in his torso. Toronto paramedics said they took the teen to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries and that no other injuries were reported at the scene.Police are on the lookout for a suspect, described as being in their 20s, with a medium build, wearing a blue mask and a blue jacket with a hood up.Police ask anyone with information to call them at 416-808-2222.
On Twitter, a spokesperson for the TTC said the commission would give police “full support,” including video and witness statements, as officers investigate the stabbing.
