The investigation into a 14-year-old being shot in Forth Worth is ongoing as the teen is in the hospital and no arrests have been announced.

Fort Worth police said they are still working to identify the person or people involved in a Sunday shooting that left a 14-year-old in critical condition.

Officers responded before 4:30 p.m. to a home in the 11600 block of Maddie Avenue and found the teenager unconscious after being shot, according to police. The victim was taken to the hospital, and police said the teen was in critical condition as of Monday afternoon.“Fort Worth police detectives are still conducting a comprehensive investigation to identify the suspect and to determine if there is a connection between the victim and the suspect,” the department said in a news release.
