A 14-year-old girl is recovering after being stabbed in Renton early Sunday morning.
Area that police say a 14-year-old girl was stabbed in Renton on June 4, 2023.
Officers were sent to the area of Shattuck Ave S and S 3rd St at approximately 1:12 a.m. after reports a girl had been stabbed. The girl was found sitting on the northeast corner sidewalk, bleeding heavily from her left wrist when officers arrived. Police say the girl also has a stab wound to the upper left breast area. She was unable to give any information on a suspect.
A potential witness told an officer that one of the local homeless females may have stabbed the girl.
