There’s a choose-your-adventure experience at this independent Chinese bakery in San Gabriel that’s been around for nearly a decade. Rows and rows of individually wrapped baked goods and pastries — that are freshly prepared every day — line the shelves.
There are sweet buns with flavors like coffee with sea salt butter, or matcha mochi with buttercream. Then there’s the savory, from hot dogs with green onions, to a vegan ham and cheese with corn. It’s also a place to grab a tea or boba drink, or a last-minute celebration cake with choices like mango mousse, taro pudding, or match tiramisu, and brick toasts topped with strawberries and ice cream.
