This comes after the airline had initially returned 17 aircrafts in their first batch.

Here’s a list of the aircraft and where they will be going to:ZS-SZD : 14 July 2020 – SloveniaAirbus A330-300ZS-SXL : 15 July 2020 – NetherlandsZS-SDC : 10 July 2020 – SpainThis leaves SAA with only nine aircraft. They are three A319, four A320 and two A350-900.1,000 employees at SAA

It provides an alternative to retrenchments, while giving employees an opportunity to upskill and allowing the company to offload a large number of its remuneration obligations through economic recessions. Meanwhile, the department of public enterprises called on creditors and stakeholders of SAA to vote in support of the airline’s business rescue plan.
