Young Ashton is doing his bit to help homeless military veterans.
A 13-year-old boy will spend 100 nights sleeping outside in a tent to raise money for homeless military veterans.
He is undergoing the challenge to try and help homeless veterans get off the streets, receive personal support and hopefully help them back into employment. "This is his third year doing it and he's very lucky that he's been helped out by a lot of local businesses, donating firewood and that sort of thing. He cooks all his own food outside too, he takes it very seriously.
"The transition from military life to civilian life isn’t easy and strains are put on everyone. Service men and women have put their lives on the line supporting our country, it’s time we supported them in their hour of need."
